Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, has dismissed claims linking him to the ongoing online feud between activist VeryDarkMan and content creator King Mitchy.

The dispute began after King Mitchy renovated a public school within six days with financial support from Tinubu. The situation escalated when VeryDarkMan accused her of failing to account for public donations since 2025 and alleged that Seyi Tinubu backed her charitable efforts.

In a statement on Instagram Saturday, Tinubu called the allegations “false,” clarifying that his only interaction with King Mitchy occurred in a public setting where he contributed funds to her non-governmental organisation as part of his broader commitment to youth empowerment initiatives across Nigeria.

“Let me be clear: the allegations and insinuations made about me are false,” Tinubu wrote. He added that a planned follow-up meeting to assess the impact of the donation did not occur due to ill health. He stressed that there was no private encounter, secret arrangement, or impropriety of any kind.

Tinubu expressed concern that a dispute he neither initiated nor participated in was being used to damage his reputation. He accused VeryDarkMan of seeking a trigger to him and cautioned against using philanthropy as a political tool.

He also condemned online bullying and harassment, warning that escalating s could have serious mental health implications. “I will not be bullied, and I will not dignify fiction with panic,” he said.

Reaffirming his long-term philanthropic efforts, Tinubu noted that he has supported initiatives in education, healthcare, enterprise, and youth empowerment for more than a decade. He called for responsible discourse, truth, and restraint, emphasizing that character and work endure while online noise fades.
