Igbide Community Hails Commissioner Obiodeh for Grassroots Development Projects

The people of Igbide Kingdom have commended the Honourable Commissioner for Lands and Surveys, Chief Emamusi Obiodeh, for delivering key grassroots development projects that are set to transform the community.

The projects include the renovation of a modern market and the construction of a school pavilion at Owodokpokpo Grammar School. The renovated market is expected to boost local commerce and empower small-scale traders, while the school pavilion will provide a conducive space for academic and social activities. Both initiatives were personally funded by Chief Obiodeh as part of his corporate social responsibility.

During an inspection of the completed projects, Chief Obiodeh emphasized his commitment to improving the welfare of his people and contributing meaningfully to local development. He expressed gratitude to the Governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori, for inspiring appointees to deliver impactful projects across the state.

The Commissioner also urged residents to maintain peace and unity, noting that ility is key to attracting further development. He encouraged continued support for Governor Oborevwori’s administration, highlighting the positive impact of state policies on Igbide, the Isoko nation, and Delta State at large.

Community leaders and residents expressed appreciation for Chief Obiodeh’s dedication to his roots, noting that the market will enhance economic activities, especially for women and small-scale traders, while the school pavilion will enrich learning and extracurricular engagements.

Chief Obiodeh assured the people that more development projects will be brought to the area, reaffirming his dedication to leveraging his office for the benefit of his constituents.
