Dr Ekwutoziam Ashiedu Ogwus Chinedu, a prominent aspirant for Ahoada East Constituency 2 in Rivers State under the Nigeria Democratic Congress, on Friday evening paid a courtesy visit to Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso at his residence in Maitama Abuja.

During the visit, Ekwutoziam formally presented her Expression of Interest form to Kwankwaso and sought his support and fatherly blessings as political activities and preparations for the coming elections continue to gain momentum across the country.

The meeting also provided an opportunity for discussions on party development, grassroots mobilisation, and strategies aimed at strengthening the Nigeria Democratic Congress in Ahoada East and other parts of Rivers State.

According to the aspirant, the engagement with Kwankwaso was centered on building a stronger political movement that reflects the aspirations of ordinary citizens and promotes inclusive leadership at all levels of governance.

Kwankwaso in his remarks encouraged unity among party members and supporters while calling on Nigerians of goodwill to continue to support the emerging political movement. He noted that growing interest in the Nigeria Democratic Congress from different parts of the federation reflects a desire for purposeful leadership and democratic renewal.

He further stressed that with unity, determination and collective effort the party can build a stronger platform capable of delivering meaningful ce and improved governance for citizens.

The visit has been described by observers as part of wider consultations and political engagements being carried out by aspirants across various states as parties position themselves ahead of future elections.

Political analysts say such meetings highlight ongoing efforts by emerging politicians to align with influential national figures in order to strengthen visibility and grassroots acceptance within their constituencies.

The Nigeria Democratic Congress continues to attract attention as more aspirants declare interest in elective positions while engaging key political stakeholders for guidance and support.
