The Chief of Staff to the Sokoto State Governor, Alhaji Aminu Haliru Dikko, on Wednesday convened a landmark All Progressives Congress stakeholders meeting for Tambuwal Local Government Area, reaffirming the party’s commitment to inclusive governance and grassroots development.

Held in Sokoto metropolis, the meeting brought together party leaders, elders, youths, and women representatives from Tambuwal Local Government, marking the first broad-based political engagement outside the council headquarters.

Dikko described the gathering as a strategic platform to strengthen party unity, consolidate achievements, and chart a clear path for sustained development in Tambuwal and Sokoto State. He highlighted that the APC-led administration of Governor Ahmed Aliyu prioritises people-oriented policies, visible projects, empowerment initiatives, and political appointments that benefit all local governments.

The Chief of Staff noted that Tambuwal has seen significant gains under the current administration, including infrastructural development, human capital investment, and increased political inclusion. He assured party faithful that government presence and service delivery would continue as long as the APC remains united and focused.

The projects aim to improve access to quality basic education, decongest existing facilities, and equip schools with modern amenities.
