The All Progressives Congress (APC) has called on its members, supporters, and prospective entrants to participate in its ongoing Membership Electronic-Registration exercise across all states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory.

The invitation was contained in a statement issued on Friday by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, and shared via the APC’s official X handle. According to the party, the exercise is currently taking place in all wards nationwide as part of efforts to strengthen its internal structures.

Morka explained that existing members are required to validate their membership through the exercise, while new and intending members are encouraged to register and formally join the ruling party. He noted that participation is open to Nigerians who are at least 18 years old and possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN), which is required to complete the registration process.

The APC said the e-Registration initiative is aimed at digitising the party’s membership register and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of its records. The exercise is also expected to provide efficient access to reliable membership data, which will support better planning, management decisions, and internal organisation within the party.

According to Morka, the programme will further promote internal democracy and reinforce the APC’s commitment to democratic innovation in Nigeria’s political space. By leveraging technology, the party hopes to enhance transparency and accountability in its operations.

He urged all eligible Nigerians to take advantage of the opportunity to be part of what he described as the progressive family of Nigeria’s ruling party.

The APC added that the electronic registration exercise forms part of its broader strategy to modernise party administration, increase transparency, and ensure that its membership database remains current, verifiable, and accessible nationwide.
