The United Nations ilization mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo has completed a significant operational phase aimed at strengthening civilian protection, restoring security, and supporting state authority in conflict affected regions. Mission officials reported progress in reducing the presence of armed groups in targeted areas and improving coordination with Congolese security forces and local administrations.
The completed phase focused on protecting vulnerable communities, securing key transport routes, and supporting local governance structures in regions affected by long standing violence.
