President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated the President of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations NIPR Ike Neliaku on his re election to the Board of the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy Bayo Onanuga the President described Neliaku’s re election as a strong endorsement of his leadership professionalism and commitment to ethical public relations practice.
Tinubu said the development reflects Nigeria’s growing influence in the global communication and public relations industry and the increasing recognition of Nigerian professionals on the international stage.
Ike Neliaku secured a fresh two year mandate during the Board’s Annual General Meeting held in Prague after a competitive election involving representatives from member countries worldwide.
The President commended Neliaku for promoting excellence transparency and innovation in public relations and communication management.
He expressed confidence that the renewed tenure would strengthen international collaboration and enhance professional development within the global public relations sector.
Tinubu also assured that the Federal Government will continue to support initiatives aimed at improving Nigeria’s global image and advancing professional standards in communication management.
He wished Neliaku continued success in his new mandate and reaffirmed government support for efforts that position Nigeria positively on the world stage.
