Nigerian reality TV star Anita Natacha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, has shared insights into her journey since leaving the Big Brother Naija house in 2019, revealing how she transformed a controversial exit into a thriving career.

Tacha was disqualified from the show following an altercation with eventual winner Mercy Eke, a moment many believed would derail her ambitions. However, she has since rebuilt her brand and carved out a strong presence in the entertainment and beauty industries.

One of her most notable achievements came recently when she set records with the Guinness World Records, becoming the first African to break two records for cosmetic makeover sessions within 24 hours. She explained that although she initially planned to attempt the feat in the United Kingdom, she chose to return to Nigeria to make a stronger statement about the capabilities of Nigerian women.

According to her, hosting the record attempt in Nigeria allowed her to turn it into a three day beauty festival in Lagos, where she trained thousands of participants and collaborated with industry figures such as Dabota Lawson.

Beyond her record breaking achievement, Tacha disclosed that she is currently focused on launching her beauty brand, Tacha Beauty, alongside an academy aimed at empowering young people with practical ss.

Reflecting on her disqualification, she admitted it was a challenging moment but said it ultimately fueled her determination to succeed. She noted that setbacks are part of growth and credited her resilience, consistency and faith for her continued rise.

On her personal life, Tacha stated that she is currently single and focused on her purpose, adding that she has not yet found the right partner.

She also addressed public perception, saying many opinions about her are based on limited exposure during the reality show. According to her, people only saw a fraction of her true personality.

With a growing global presence and expanding business ventures, Tacha says she remains committed to breaking boundaries and inspiring others.
