In a statement issued in Abuja on Sunday, Shettima said working closely with the President has been a valuable experience, noting that Tinubu’s leadership style reflects courage, vision, and a commitment to long term national progress. He added that the Renewed Hope Agenda of the administration continues to reposition Nigeria on the path of sustainable growth and prosperity.

The Vice President highlighted what he described as key economic milestones achieved under Tinubu’s leadership over the past year. According to him, Nigeria has recorded improved Gross Domestic Product growth, a steady decline in inflation trends, and a notable increase in foreign direct investment, all pointing to renewed investor confidence in the country.

Beyond economic policies, the Vice President emphasised Tinubu’s strength of character, particularly his willingness to take difficult but necessary decisions for the benefit of the country. He said the President has demonstrated a rare ability to balance empathy with firmness while pursuing reforms aimed at national transformation.

Offering prayers for the President, Shettima wished him good health, renewed strength, and wisdom to continue leading Nigeria through its current phase of development.
