Popular Nigerian actress Shan George has reacted strongly to the ongoing controversy surrounding media personality Frank Edoho and his wife Sandra Edoho, warning against extramarital affairs involving married women.
In a lengthy post shared on her Facebook page over the weekend, the actress stated that having ual relations with another man’s wife attracts curses and should never be encouraged. She described such behaviour as unacceptable and spiritually dangerous.
The controversy began after Frank Edoho publicly accused his wife Sandra of engaging in extramarital affairs with Nigerian singer Chike Ezekpeazu Osebuka, popularly known as Chike. In response, Sandra also accused Frank of infidelity, alleging that he had cheated on her with several Nigerian celebrities.
While Chike has not publicly responded to the allegations, the issue has continued to generate reactions on social media, with some celebrities condemning the alleged affair and others calling for privacy and restraint.
Reacting to the situation, Shan George advised couples facing difficulties in marriage to seek peaceful and respectful ways of resolving their issues. According to her, revenge driven behaviour and retaliatory actions only worsen already damaged relationships.
The actress stated that if a marriage becomes unbearable despite efforts to save it, separation should be considered rather than engaging in affairs outside the union. She stressed that cheating within marriage is a serious betrayal that could have lasting emotional and spiritual consequences.
Shan George also called on Chike to apologise to Frank Edoho and to any other men whose marriages may have been affected by similar actions. Her comments have since sparked mixed reactions online, with some social media users supporting her views while others criticised her statements as too harsh.
The public dispute between Frank and Sandra Edoho continues to attract widespread attention, especially due to the involvement of well known figures in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
