Primate Ayodele Predicts Obasanjo Will Oppose Tinubu’s Second Term, Warns of Rising Political Tensions

In a recent Facebook video, Nigerian cleric Primate Elijah Ayodele stirred political conversation with a bold prophecy about the country’s future leadership. He claimed that former President Olusegun Obasanjo is strongly against President Bola Tinubu returning for a second term in office.

Ayodele didn’t hold back in his message, stating clearly, “Obasanjo is totally against Tinubu’s second term. He wants to make sure Tinubu does not win.” He suggested that the opposition to Tinubu’s re-election would grow more intense as the 2027 elections approach.

The prophet also predicted that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) would begin to gain serious attention starting in February. “ADC will gain popularity from February,” he said, hinting that the party could become a major player in the political space.

Ayodele also had a word of caution for the presidency. He advised President Tinubu to be careful about some of the people in his government, warning that not all of them may be working in his best interest. “Stay alert. Some people you appointed should not be in government,” he warned.

His message has added fuel to ongoing political discussions, especially as the country begins to look ahead to the next general election.
