Oyebanji Administration Driving Growth Through Continuity and Inclusive Policies in Ekiti

The Ekiti State Commissioner for Information, Taiwo Olatunbosun, has highlighted the positive impact of Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s administration, citing a strong commitment to continuity, service delivery, and people focused governance.

In a statement issued in Ado Ekiti, Olatunbosun noted that the administration has recorded significant progress since assuming office in October 2022. He explained that the government has deliberately built on the achievements of previous administrations, ensuring that ongoing projects are completed while introducing new initiatives aimed at improving citizens’ welfare.

According to the commissioner, the focus on infrastructure development has led to the rehabilitation of key road networks across the state. These improvements have enhanced transportation, boosted commercial activities, and strengthened connections between rural and urban communities.

Olatunbosun also pointed to notable strides in agriculture, including the reintroduction of extension services, provision of farm inputs, and youth driven agricultural programmes. He said the clearing of large hectares of farmland has increased food production and created employment opportunities.

In the health sector, the government has revitalised primary healthcare centres and deployed mobile health services to reach underserved areas, improving access to affordable and quality care for residents.

Education has also received significant attention, with investments in renovating schools, integrating digital learning technologies, and training teachers to enhance professional standards. These efforts, he said, are designed to equip students with ss needed for global competitiveness.

The administration has further expanded youth empowerment programmes, promoting entrepreneurship and job creation under its economic growth agenda. Innovation driven initiatives are positioning Ekiti as an emerging hub for knowledge based industries while boosting internally generated revenue.

Olatunbosun emphasised that Governor Oyebanji’s leadership style, rooted in inclusiveness and transparency, has fostered political ility and strengthened collaboration among stakeholders in the state.

He called for continued public support, reaffirming the government’s commitment to sustainable development and improved quality of life for all residents.
