Speaking at a recent event in Delta State, the former governor revealed he’d already shared this grim forecast with Christian leaders prior to the polls.
“I knew we would not win the election,” Okowa said. His prediction proved accurate. The Independent National Electoral Commission declared President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress the winner, with Atiku placing second and Peter Obi of the Labour Party finishing third, exactly as Okowa had anticipated.
