Security forces in Niger State are intensifying their collaborative efforts as the newly deployed Commander of the 31 Artillery Brigade pledges to work closely with the state police command to tackle mounting security challenges. Brigar General K. Rabiu met with Commissioner of Police Adamu Abdullahi Elleman at the Niger State Police Command Headquarters in Dutsen-Kura, Minna, on Thursday to formalize a renewed commitment to intelligence sharing and coordinated operations between the Nigerian Army and the Police.
The courtesy visit, which followed Rabiu’s recent deployment to command the 31 Artillery Brigade, underscored the critical need for improved inter-agency collaboration in addressing the complex security landscape facing Niger State. Rabiu emphasized that effective synergy among security agencies remains essential not only for the state but for the entire country. He acknowledged the Police as the lead agency in internal security operations and stressed the importance of regular sharing of actionable intelligence to enhance operational effectiveness and ensure rapid responses to emerging threats.
During the meeting, the Brigade Commander sought the continued support of the Police Command, building on the foundation elished by his predecessor.
