Gombe APC Registers 400000 Members, Holds Peaceful State Congress

Inuwa Yahaya has announced that the All Progressives Congress (APC) has recorded a membership strength of 400,000 in Gombe State, placing the state tenth nationally in party membership. The disclosure was made during the APC state congress held at Pantami Stadium, Gombe.

Governor Yahaya highlighted that the figure reflects the success of the ongoing e-registration and membership revalidation exercise. He praised party faithful and officials for their efforts in boosting membership and urged members to remain united and committed to APC ideals to secure electoral victories in 2027. He also expressed appreciation to President Bola Tinubu for providing effective leadership and called on stakeholders to support his re-election alongside other APC candidates in the state.

The congress was conducted peacefully under the supervision of Dr Danjuma Dabo, Chairman of the Gombe State APC Congress Committee. The process involved screening and consensus elections, resulting in 36 new state officials. Mohammed Ndus emerged as the new State Chairman, Baba Abuja as Deputy Chairman, and Moses Kyari was re elected as Publicity Secretary, among others.

In his remarks, Ndus thanked Governor Yahaya and pledged the loyalty of the new officials to the party, affirming their commitment to APC’s mission and vision in Gombe State.
