The bout took place at Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, as part of the Chaos in the Ring 4 event, where all three judges scored the contest 27 to 30 in favor of Efe. Speaking after the fight, Efe dismissed comparisons to Anthony Joshua, instead boldly adopting a new nickname inspired by Mayweather. “Who called me Anthony Joshua My name is Carter Mayweather,” he said to cheers from the crowd, expressing confidence in his performance.
