Despite swirling rumours about tension in her marriage, actress and former Big Brother Naija star Olawunmi Adenibuyan, popularly known as Bam Bam or Achalugo, has continued to set screens alight alongside actor Uzor Arukwe, also known as Odogwu Paranran.
The duo recently starred in the romantic film Without You, released just ahead of Valentine Day, where they portrayed co leads navigating love, loss and emotional reconnection. Clips and behind the scenes moments from the project have since gone viral, reigniting debates about Bam Bam’s personal life.
Fans remain divided. While many have praised the pair’s professionalism and undeniable on screen chemistry, others argue that the timing of the collaboration, amid reported marital tension with her husband Teddy A, makes the situation more delicate.
Their chemistry first captured attention in the drama Love in Every Word, produced by Omoni Oboli, further cementing their status as a compelling on screen duo.
Speculation surrounding Bam Bam and Teddy A began in December following separate photo s and intensified when observant fans noticed the couple no longer follow each other on Instagram. On Valentine Day, Teddy A shared solo photos holding a red rose with a cryptic caption, fuelling online chatter.
Meanwhile, Arukwe has appeared unfazed by critics. Responding to a fan who suggested he avoid working with Bam Bam until her alleged marital issues were resolved, he replied, That is why you are not me. He also warned against unfounded accusations and rejected attempts to drag him into the couple’s speculated troubles.
Bam Bam and Teddy A met during the 2018 edition of Big Brother Naija and married in Dubai in 2019. Though they have remained silent about the rumours, fans continue to scrutinise their posts and collaborations for clues.
