Adesina Fayemi Celebrate Obasanjo at 89 Praise His Courage Leadership and Influence

Former leaders and prominent figures have paid glowing tributes to Olusegun Obasanjo as he celebrates his 89th birthday highlighting his enduring influence in Nigeria Africa and the wider global community. Among those who honored the elder statesman were Akinwumi Adesina the immediate past President of the African Development Bank and former Ekiti State governor Kayode Fayemi.

In a statement released on Thursday Adesina described Obasanjo as a courageous leader whose voice continues to command respect across generations and national boundaries. According to him the former Nigerian president has remained fearless in addressing pressing national and international issues while consistently speaking truth to power.

According to Fayemi Obasanjo remains a towering figure whose courage to speak frankly on national issues continues to enrich democratic discourse in Nigeria.
