Darrell West from the Brookings Institution noted that while the plan aims to strengthen risk management, it lacks clarity on handling sensitive medical information.
The strategy anticipates a significant increase in AI projects, projecting a 70% rise in the 2025 fiscal year compared to the prior year, underscoring HHS’s commitment to leveraging AI for modernizing healthcare services. However, the plan has faced criticism for insufficient details regarding risk management and data protection strategies. Critics argue that without clear guidelines, implementation could face challenges.
