Popular Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has threatened to sue her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, and others for accusing her of taking hard drugs. The actress addressed the allegations in a video shared on her Instagram page on Wednesday, presenting laboratory test results conducted at a hospital in California.

According to the results, Regina tested negative for hard drugs and confirmed that she was only associated with ecstasy, commonly known as molly. In the video, she said: “Hi everyone, it’s Regina Daniels. I don’t believe that I will sit in front of this camera again trying to clear up an accusation that was sent to destroy me. … I was never on any hard drugs or any nonsense fabricated online. I will sue, I will definitely sue at the appropriate time. Honestly speaking, the only drug I was associated with was ecstasy.”

Regina explained that her decision to publicly share the test results was not only to clear her name but also to reassure her supporters and give her children pride in knowing their mother has never been a drug addict. She emphasized that the allegations were damaging to her personal brand and reputation as a public figure.

The actress’s clarification comes nearly three months after Senator Nwoko accused her of drug use. Regina Daniels also previously shared a video of herself undergoing a drug test at a California hospital, demonstrating her commitment to proving her innocence.

Through her statement, Regina stressed her gratitude for the support of fans and followers who have believed in her, noting that she will take legal action at the appropriate time to address the false narratives surrounding her name.

This development marks another chapter in the public disputes between Regina Daniels and her estranged husband, as the actress moves to protect her reputation and ensure that misinformation about her is formally challenged.
