PRP Welcomes Yusuf Baba Ahmed into Party Ranks

The Peoples Redemption Party has formally welcomed former Labour Party vice presidential candidate Yusuf Baba Ahmed into its ranks, describing his entry as a significant boost to its vision for a reformed and prosperous Nigeria. The party said his arrival marks a new dawn for its renewed drive toward national transformation and political inclusion.

In a statement issued in Abuja by the National Publicity Secretary Muhammed Ishaq, the party noted that Yusuf Baba Ahmed brings with him experience, national appeal and a strong base of supporters across the country. It stated that his decision to join the party reinforces confidence in the PRP mission of promoting integrity in leadership and strengthening democratic governance.

The party expressed optimism that his participation will help advance efforts aimed at improving national security, revitalising the economy and promoting social justice. It added that the growing support around the party reflects a shared belief in the need for credible leadership and sustainable development.

The Peoples Redemption Party further reiterated that its platform remains open to all Nigerians who are committed to building a fair, secure and united nation. It called on citizens from all regions and backgrounds to support its agenda for meaningful ce and national renewal.

According to the statement, the party’s five point agenda is focused on restoring accountability in leadership, addressing insecurity through institutional reforms, strengthening economic opportunities and ensuring balanced national development. It also emphasised restructuring the country to improve efficiency and fairness in governance systems.

The party added that these priorities are aimed at moving Nigeria beyond promises to practical solutions that improve education, healthcare and rural development outcomes for citizens across the country.
