Iran’s leadership has warned that any military by the United States could ignite a wider regional war with severe consequences for the Middle East. Senior Iranian officials said escalating tensions and military pressure risk miscalculation and uncontrolled conflict across multiple fronts.

The warning comes amid heightened rhetoric and increased military activity in the region. Iranian authorities emphasized that while they do not seek confrontation they would respond decisively to any aggression. United States officials have maintained that their actions are defensive and aimed at deterrence.

Regional security experts caution that the dense network of alliances and armed groups increases the risk of escalation. International diplomats have urged restraint and renewed diplomatic engagement to prevent conflict. The statements highlight ongoing volatility in a region already facing significant humanitarian and security challenges.
