His “Hulkamania” era, characterized by his patriotic image, signature catchphrases, and the iconic “Real American” entrance music, captivated aunces worldwide.

One of the most memorable moments in his career was his body slam of André the Giant at WrestleMania III in 1987, a feat that solidified his status as a wrestling legend. This event drew over 90,000 fans to Detroit’s Pontiac Silverdome and remains one of the most iconic images in professional wrestling history.

Beyond the wrestling ring, Hogan expanded his reach into mainstream entertainment. He appeared in films such as “Rocky III” and “No Holds Barred,” and starred in the reality TV series “Hogan Knows Best.” His crossover appeal helped bring professional wrestling into the cultural mainstream.

In recent years, Hogan remained active in the wrestling community. He served as the commissioner for Real American Freestyle, an unscripted pro wrestling league, and was involved in promoting the “Real American Beer” brand. His last public appearance was at the 2024 Republican National Convention, where he delivered a pro-Trump speech, showcasing his continued influence in both the wrestling and political arenas.

Hogan’s passing has elicited tributes from fans, fellow wrestlers, and public figures alike. WWE expressed its condolences, stating, “WWE is saddened to learn WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has passed away.
