Now 39, Katie lives in Texas with her family and has rebuilt her life, finding peace, autonomy, and self-discovery outside the rigid framework of her earlier faith.
Katie emphasizes that her journey is not a condemnation of being a stay-at-home mother, but about having genuine choice. She encourages empathy for women still trapped in oppressive systems and highlights the importance of community and self-reflection in reclaiming one’s life.
