Expanded Peace Talks Between Russia Ukraine and United States Convene in Abu Dhabi

Expanded peace negotiations involving Russia Ukraine and the United States convened today in Abu Dhabi as diplomatic efforts intensify to find a resolution to the nearly four year long conflict. The talks bring together senior representatives from all three nations in a bid to build on earlier discussions and explore areas of compromise on ceasefire terms, security guarantees and the future status of contested territories.

Officials said the expanded format reflects a shared recognition that sustained dialogue is necessary despite continuing hostilities on the ground. Ukrainian negotiators emphasized their commitment to achieving a lasting peace that respects Ukraine’s territorial integrity, while Russian delegates reiterated their positions on security concerns and territorial arrangements.

The United States, acting as host and mediator, underscored its support for diplomatic solutions and the importance of involving international partners in future peace implementation efforts. Delegates from other countries and international organizations are expected to participate in some sessions to provide expertise on humanitarian issues reconstruction and transitional security frameworks.

The talks come amid ongoing military activity, including fresh Russian s on Ukrainian infrastructure and persistent fighting in eastern regions. Despite these challenges negotiators expressed cautious optimism that progress could be made if all parties remain engaged and willing to bridge longstanding differences.
