The incident, which occurred during the second half of the match, sparked widespread discussion among fans after cameras captured a heated exce between the two star forwards.
Nigeria were firmly in control of the encounter when tensions flared in the 63rd minute. At the time, Osimhen had already scored twice, while Lookman had added a goal of his own, putting the Super Eagles three goals ahead. Lookman has emerged as one of the tournament’s standout performers, recording three goals and four assists, while Osimhen has also found the net three times.
