Brock Lesnar’s wrestling career has come to a definitive end, according to WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry. The former Universal Champion bid farewell at SummerSlam earlier this month after losing to Oba Femi, and speculation about a potential comeback has now been firmly dismissed.
Speaking with TJR Wrestling, Henry revealed the real reason behind Lesnar’s retirement. “Brock is not wrestling no more. He’s retired,” Henry stated bluntly. The Beast Incarnate wants to focus on his young sons, attending their hockey games and being present in ways he couldn’t when his career was in full swing. Can anyone really blame him for choosing family over the grueling schedule?
Elsewhere, AJ Styles has quietly returned to WWE in a different capacity. The Phenomenal One, who retired from in-ring competition after his loss to Gunther, reportedly attended WWE NXT’s Heatwave event. He wasn’t there to perform but to work behind the scenes. PWInsider claims Styles has been producing matches, transitioning from performer to backstage veteran.
Former women’s champion AJ Lee also made headlines with a personal update. She’s been learning to play Dungeons and Dragons while enjoying time away from the ring since WrestleMania 42, where she lost her title to Becky Lynch.
