APC Defends Tinubu’s Reforms, Accuses Critics of Spreading Misinformation

The All Progressives Congress has strongly pushed back against critics, accusing opposition figures of attempting to undermine the achievements of Bola Tinubu through what it described as false and misleading narratives.

In a statement issued in Sokoto, Malam Yusuf Dingyadi, media aide to APC National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda, alleged that certain opposition groups are using social media platforms to spread unverified claims aimed at discrediting the administration. He described the trend as a reflection of political desperation driven by personal interests rather than national progress.

Dingyadi argued that a fair and objective assessment of the current administration reveals measurable progress across key sectors, including security, infrastructure, agriculture, education, and healthcare. According to him, the federal government has rolled out multiple initiatives designed to improve citizens’ welfare and support sustainable national development.

He further criticized what he called reckless criticism and the use of inflammatory language, stressing that such actions undermine efforts to address longstanding challenges. Dingyadi maintained that the administration is focused on delivering reforms that will strengthen the economy, improve security, and enhance overall governance.

The APC also highlighted ongoing investments in road construction, housing projects, social intervention programmes, and agricultural expansion as part of its broader development agenda. These efforts, the party said, are already contributing to economic resilience and improved living conditions.

Reaffirming the party’s stance, Dingyadi said the APC would continue to defend the government’s record while countering misinformation. He urged Nigerians to remain vigilant and to support ongoing reforms, emphasizing that constructive engagement is essential for democratic growth and national unity.
