Airbus Inaugurates Centre for Sustainable Aviation Research in India

Airbus has inaugurated a new centre for sustainable aviation research in India marking a significant step in expanding global efforts to reduce the environmental impact of air transport. The facility is designed to support research collaboration innovation and ss development focused on cleaner aviation technologies and long term sustainability goals.

The company stated that the centre will bring together engineers researchers academic institutions and industry partners to work on projects related to alternative fuels lightweight materials digital design and lifecycle emissions reduction. Airbus emphasized that India’s growing aerospace ecosystem and technical talent made the country a strategic location for advancing sustainable aviation research.
