Top Managers With the Most Trophies in Premier League Club History

The Premier League has witnessed some of the greatest football managers in history, with legendary coaches transforming clubs into dominant forces both in England and across Europe. From Manchester United and Arsenal to Manchester City and Liverpool, these managers built winning dynasties and left lasting legacies through remarkable trophy collections.

Here is a look at the managers with the highest number of trophies won with Premier League clubs.

Sir Alex Ferguson leads the list as the most successful manager in English football history. During his 26 year reign at Manchester United, the Scottish coach won an incredible 38 trophies and turned the club into a global football powerhouse. His achievements include 13 Premier League titles, five FA Cups, four League Cups, two UEFA Champions League titles, and several domestic and international honours. Ferguson retired in 2013, leaving behind a record that still stands today.

Pep Guardiola follows with 20 trophies at Manchester City. Since arriving in 2016, the Spanish tactician has revolutionised English football with his ing and possession based style. Guardiola guided City to multiple league titles, domestic cups, and a UEFA Champions League triumph. He also led the club to a historic Treble in 2023 and became the first manager to win four consecutive Premier League titles.

Arsene Wenger remains one of Arsenal’s greatest ever managers with 17 trophies. The Frenchman modernised English football through innovations in training, nutrition, and recruitment. His legendary “Invincibles” team completed the 2003 2004 Premier League season unbeaten, a feat unmatched in league history.

Jose Mourinho won eight trophies with Chelsea and quickly elished himself as one of the league’s most influential managers after arriving in 2004. Jurgen Klopp also claimed eight trophies with Liverpool, including ending the club’s 30 year wait for a league title in 2020.

George Graham and Kenny Dalglish complete the list with six trophies each during their successful managerial spells in English football.
