Nigeria’s Ahmed Musa ranks next with four goals. The speedy forward scored against Argentina and Iceland and became the first Nigerian player to score in two separate World Cup tournaments.

Late Senegal midfielder Papa Bouba Diop scored three goals during the 2002 FIFA World Cup, including the famous winner against defending champions France in one of the tournament’s biggest upsets.

Tunisia captain Wahbi Khazri also netted three World Cup goals, including the winning strike against France at the 2022 tournament in Qatar.
