Saga Adeolu has spoken candidly about his experience with kissing scenes in films, revealing that he would avoid them entirely if he had the choice.

The Nollywood actor and reality TV star shared his views during an episode of the Nolly Icons podcast, where he discussed the realities of performing romantic scenes on screen.

Saga explained that contrary to public assumptions, most actors do not enjoy kissing scenes. He said such moments are performed strictly for storytelling and script interpretation rather than personal enjoyment.

According to him, onscreen kissing can feel uncomfortable and unnatural, describing it as an awkward experience that involves close physical contact with different co stars during filming.

He also revealed that despite appearing in several romantic roles, he does not consider any of his onscreen kissing scenes to have been particularly pleasant or memorable.

Saga further shared that there was a day he had to kiss four different actresses during separate takes, emphasizing how demanding such scenes can be in film production.

He stated that actors should be appreciated rather than judged for performing such roles, as they are part of professional storytelling requirements in the movie industry.

The actor stressed that aunce perception often differs from reality, noting that viewers tend to assume actors enjoy romantic scenes when in fact they are simply executing their roles.

His comments have sparked conversations about the behind the scenes realities of Nollywood productions and the emotional and physical boundaries actors navigate while portraying romantic relationships on screen.
Saga concluded by reaffirming that if it were up to him, he would prefer to avoid kissing scenes altogether, but understands their importance in delivering authentic film narratives.
