The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has issued a strong warning to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, alleging that United States President Donald Trump is plotting to remove him from office.

In a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele claimed that President Tinubu has been “caged” politically and that the alleged plan is to eventually force him out of power. According to the cleric, the support being offered by the United States to Nigeria in tackling insecurity is not entirely genuine, but rather a strategy to gain deeper access to the country’s political system.

“Trump is adamant to remove President Tinubu. America will be part of those who will be against Tinubu,” Ayodele said, insisting that the motives behind US involvement go beyond security cooperation. He added that while Nigeria may continue to battle insecurity, the US President’s focus is allegedly on achieving a political objective rather than helping to end violence.

The cleric further claimed that President Tinubu may not yet be aware of the depth of the alleged plot, warning that Trump “knows what he wants and won’t stop at nothing” to achieve it. He argued that the fight against insecurity would continue regardless, but that external interests are at play.

Primate Ayodele urged President Tinubu to take bold and strategic political steps to counter the alleged plan. He warned that failure to act decisively could result in political defeat, adding that Tinubu must intensify his efforts and develop strong strategies to avoid being overwhelmed by foreign influence.
