Former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, has expressed gratitude to Nigerians at home and in the diaspora for an outpouring of support following an alleged assassination attempt on him and other leaders of the African Democratic Congress in Benin City.

Quoting Plato, Obi reminded Nigerians of the importance of civic participation, urging them to elect leaders based on competence, commitment, character, and compassion.
