The New England Patriots defeated the New York Jets 27-14 in Foxborough, Massachusetts, marking their eighth consecutive win of the season and improving their record to 9-2. Rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson shone with an outstanding performance, scoring three touchdowns two on the ground and one through the air. Henderson’s 7-yard rushing touchdowns came in the second quarter, followed by a 6-yard reception touchdown in the third, totaling 93 yards (62 rushing and 31 receiving on five catches).

Quarterback Drake Maye also excelled, completing 25 of 34 passes for 281 yards, with wide receiver Stefon Diggs being a standout target, catching nine passes for 105 yards. The Patriots’ defense was pivotal, restricting the Jets to just 245 total yards and forcing three consecutive three-and-outs during critical game moments.

For the Jets, quarterback Justin Fields managed to throw for 116 yards while adding 67 rushing yards, including a 5-yard touchdown run in the first quarter and a 22-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver John Metchie III. Despite these efforts, the Jets struggled to find consistency against the Patriots’ defense.

Henderson’s achievement of three touchdowns not only led his team to victory but also tied a rookie franchise record set by Rob Gronkowski in 2010, highlighting his rapid growth and impact on the team’s offense. As the Patriots look ahead to face the Cincinnati Bengals on November 23, their balanced and solid defense position them as strong contenders in the AFC, aiming to continue their winning streak.
