Los Angeles FC (LAFC) is reportedly pursuing Tottenham Hotspur’s forward Heung-Min Son with a £15 million ($20.3 million USD) offer. The 33-year-old South Korean international has been a pivotal figure for Tottenham since his arrival in 2015, contributing 173 goals and 101 assists in 454 appearances. In the 2024–2025 season, Son recorded 11 goals and 12 assists over 46 matches, playing a crucial role in Tottenham’s Europa League triumph.

Son’s current contract with Tottenham extends until 2026. However, recent developments suggest that he may not be in the starting plans of new manager Thomas Frank. Reports indicate that Frank is open to the possibility of selling Son, with LAFC emerging as a strong contender for his signature.

The potential move to LAFC presents an opportunity for Son to continue his career in Major League Soccer, offering a fresh challenge and the possibility of a leading role in the team. For LAFC, securing a player of Son’s caliber would significantly bolster their ing options and enhance their competitiveness in the league.

As the transfer window progresses, both clubs and the player will likely engage in discussions to determine the best course of action. The outcome of these negotiations will be closely watched by fans and analysts alike, as it could have substantial implications for the future trajectories of both Tottenham Hotspur and LAFC.
