India will host a major international naval conclave in Visakhapatnam this year that will bring together world navies for the largest maritime gathering in the country’s history, senior officials announced today. The series of events will include the International Fleet Review 2026, Exercise MILAN-26, and the Indian Ocean Naval Symposium Conclave of Chiefs, scheduled to take place from February 15 to February 25, 2026. 
The International Fleet Review, a signature event for showcasing collective naval strength and cooperation, is expected to feature participation from more than 60 nations with dozens of warships including aircraft carriers and other major maritime assets. It will be the second time Visakhapatnam has hosted the fleet review, reaffirming India’s role as a hub of maritime diplomacy. 
Exercise MILAN-26 will run concurrently, focusing on operational interoperability, maritime security and joint sea operations among participating navies. The Indian Ocean Naval Symposium Chiefs’ Conclave will bring together maritime leaders to discuss strategic cooperation, maritime domain awareness and regional ility. 
Together these events represent a landmark moment for India’s naval diplomacy, reinforcing collaborations under regional frameworks and reflecting New Delhi’s growing influence in global maritime affairs. Preparations are already underway with emphasis on logistics, security and hospitality as nations prepare to gather at India’s Eastern Naval Command in Visakhapatnam later this year.
