ABC’s “ Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest” reached a remarkable milestone, attracting an estimated 30 million viewers at midnight, the highest in four years. This eight-hour event kicked off at 8 p.m. ET and showcased 42 performers along with four live countdowns, culminating in the iconic Times Square ball drop.

The evening was highlighted by legendary artist Diana Ross, who performed a medley of her classic hits, including “Upside Down” and “I’m Coming Out,” moments before the stroke of midnight.

In addition to the television viewership, iHeart Media’s live audio broadcast engaged 2 million listeners across nearly 150 iHeartRadio stations, representing a 9% increase from the previous year. This surge in aunce engagement emphasizes the show’s strong cultural relevance and loyalty among fans.

The success of this year’s broadcast not only reflects the enduring popularity of “ Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” but also solidifies its status as the leading New Year’s Eve television special.

The combination of star power, live entertainment, and interactive countdowns has resonated with aunces, ensuring its continued legacy in New Year’s Eve celebrations. The event’s ability to attract viewers across various platforms underscores its significance in the landscape of holiday programming.
