Canada Unveils Updated National Climate Adaptation Strategy

Canadian federal officials unveiled an updated climate adaptation strategy on January 31 2026 aimed at strengthening resilience to extreme weather and long term climate impacts. The plan outlines actions to protect infrastructure communities and ecosystems as risks from floods heat and wildfires increase.
