AFC Bournemouth climbed into sixth place in the Premier League after a convincing 3 0 victory against Crystal Palace F.C. at the Vitality Stadium on Sunday.

Managed by Andoni Iraola, Bournemouth continued their impressive run of form with a performance that strengthens their push for European qualification next season. The Cherries now sit just above Brentford F.C. in the race for a potential Europa League spot.

The hosts took an early lead in the 10th minute when an effort from Evanilson was inadvertently turned into the net by Jefferson Lerma, handing Bournemouth the advantage. Despite attempts from Dean Henderson to keep the ball out, it had already crossed the line.

Bournemouth doubled their lead in the 32nd minute after Henderson fouled Marcos Senesi in the box. Eli Junior Kroupi converted the resulting penalty, marking his 12th league goal of the season.

Crystal Palace struggled to respond effectively, with chances from Jorgen Strand Larsen and Brennan Johnson denied by Djordje Petrovic.

The home side sealed the win in the 77th minute when David Brooks capitalised on a defensive error to set up Rayan for a composed finish.

Bournemouth are now unbeaten in their last 15 matches, including notable victories over Arsenal F.C. and Liverpool F.C.. With Manchester City F.C. set to visit later this month, they could also influence the title race.

Meanwhile, Palace will shift focus to their UEFA Conference League semi final second leg against Shakhtar Donetsk as they aim to reach a historic European final.
