Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia, has reiterated his administration’s dedication to delivering good governance for the benefit of all citizens, rather than catering to a select few influential individuals. Governor Alia made this statement during a briefing with State House correspondents after his meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Thursday.

The governor emphasized that his leadership would focus on inclusivity, ensuring that every citizen of Benue State feels the impact of governance. He noted that his administration would not prioritize the interests of political bigwigs but would instead remain committed to addressing the needs of the people at the grassroots level.

Governor Alia’s remarks come amid rising expectations from Benue residents, many of whom are looking to his government for solutions to pressing issues such as security, infrastructure development, and economic growth. The governor assured that his administration would remain transparent, accountable, and focused on sustainable development for all.

The meeting with President Tinubu underscored Alia’s commitment to fostering a strong relationship with the federal government in order to bring more resources and opportunities to Benue State. His administration’s goal, he stated, is to ensure that the state’s resources are used equitably and to create an environment where all citizens can thrive.

Governor Alia’s pledge reinforces his vision of governance that transcends political elites and focuses on uplifting the entire state.
