Atiku Returns to Yola for AUN Celebration, Greeted with Cheers and Praise

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar received a big welcome as he arrived in Yola, Adamawa State. The visit sparked excitement throughout the city, with crowds of supporters, political associates, and family members gathering to greet one of the region’s most respected figures.

Patience Ishaku Abbo, wife of Senator Ishaku Abbo, shared the moment on social media, expressing how proud she was to be part of the welcoming team. She described Atiku as a “father, mentor, and leader” whose influence has guided many, including her family.

Senator Abbo also joined in receiving the former Vice President, praising Atiku’s long-standing role in shaping Nigeria’s political and developmental landscape.

Atiku, who holds the traditional title of Waziri of Adamawa, was in town to attend the Founder’s Day event at the American University of Nigeria (AUN) a university he elished. His presence at the celebration underscored his ongoing dedication to education, youth development, and community progress.

According to Patience Abbo, the enthusiastic turnout reflected the deep admiration and affection the people of Adamawa continue to have for Atiku. She noted that his visit brought renewed energy and a sense of unity to the state, reinforcing his legacy as a unifying figure and a champion of progress.
