Nigerian Streamer Carterefe Says He’ll Never Marry, Married to Career Instead

Nigerian comedian and streamer Carterefe has drawn a hard line on his future. Marriage isn’t in the cards, and he’s not budging on that decision.

During a recent conversation with British media personality Madame Joyce, the 24-year-old content creator made his stance crystal clear. Born in 2001, Carterefe dismissed any notion that time might soften his views on tying the knot. His reasoning? He’s already committed to soing else entirely.

“I got married to my job,” Carterefe explained. “I want to focus on streaming. That is my baby.” The declaration comes despite people frequently questioning his age and suggesting he’ll eventually ce his mind. He won’t.

What makes his position particularly notable is his personal history. Carterefe shares a child with his ex-girlfriend, Emmanuella, following a highly publicized breakup that saw both parties trading accusations of infidelity. Can someone with parental responsibilities truly remain wedded only to their career? Carterefe seems convinced the answer is yes.

His commitment to streaming over traditional relationships represents a growing trend among young digital creators who view their platforms as primary life partners. Whether that perspective holds as his child grows remains to be seen.
