Volkswagen Becomes Official Sponsor of LaLiga and Liga F, Focusing on Sustainability and Fan Engagement

Volkswagen has entered into a strategic partnership with LaLiga and Liga F, becoming the official sponsor of both competitions for the upcoming seasons. This collaboration underscores Volkswagen’s commitment to sports and sustainable mobility, with a particular emphasis on promoting women’s football.

The agreement, signed by Jorge de la Vega, Executive Managing Director of LaLiga; Pablo Vilches, CEO of Liga F; and Enrique Pifarré, General Manager of Volkswagen Spain, positions Volkswagen as the official car of LaLiga EA SPORTS, LaLiga HYPERMOTION, and a global sponsor of Liga F. The partnership aims to enhance fan engagement through initiatives focused on sustainability, electrification, and community involvement.

Enrique Pifarré expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “This agreement makes perfect sense for us because it connects two passions deeply rooted in society: football and cars. Through this partnership with LaLiga and Liga F, we aim to get c to those who live sport with passion, accompanying them with more sustainable, innovative, and emotionally engaging mobility.”

Jorge de la Vega highlighted the significance of the alliance, noting, “We are very proud to welcome Volkswagen as an official sponsor.

This alliance not only strengthens our commitment to sustainability and innovation but also demonstrates that sport can be a catalyst for positive ce. Together, we will work to bring football c to society from a more conscious, inclusive, and transformative perspective.”

Pablo Vilches emphasized the importance of the partnership for Liga F, stating, “It is an honor for Liga F to announce this agreement with a globally prestigious brand like Volkswagen.
