Trimble Named Official Global Partner of Liverpool Football Club, Emphasizing Innovation, Future Academy Design, and Lasting Impact

Liverpool Football Club (LFC) has entered a multi-year global partnership with Trimble, a leading technology firm recognized for its precision and innovation. This collaboration aims to integrate Trimble’s advanced technologies into LFC’s infrastructure, starting with the redevelopment of the LFC Academy. The project involves utilizing Trimble SketchUp® software to design a modern facility, which will feature a full-size indoor pitch, an outdoor pitch with stands, and enhanced medical and sports science facilities to support young players’ development.

Both organizations share a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement. Trimble’s CEO, Rob Painter, noted the synergy between LFC and Trimble, highlighting an opportunity to reach over 500 million global viewers through this partnership. Ben Latty, LFC’s Chief Commercial Officer, expressed enthusiasm for how Trimble’s technology will help evolve the club’s facilities to meet modern football needs, starting with the Academy redevelopment.

Moreover, Trimble will have significant visibility across Anfield and LFC’s digital platforms, which collectively attract over 215 million followers on social media and 12 million YouTube subscribers. This visibility aims to enhance Trimble’s footprint among LFC’s expansive fanbase and partner network.

Overall, this partnership reinforces LFC’s pursuit of excellence alongside Trimble’s mission to drive productivity across critical sectors. By incorporating Trimble’s innovative solutions, LFC seeks to upgrade its facilities and operations, ensuring they align with contemporary football demands while nurturing the next generation of football talent.
