The Associated Press Top 25 college football poll, released on November 30, 2025, saw notable ces after Week 13. Texas A&M fell from the top five to No. 7 following a 27-17 loss to No. 14 Texas, marking the end of their undefeated season. This defeat propelled Georgia to No. 3, its highest ranking this season, while Oregon climbed to No. 4. Texas Tech reached No. 5, its best ranking since 2008. Ohio State and Indiana retained the top two spots at No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, both remaining undefeated. Michigan dropped to No. 18 after losing to Ohio State, which effectively ended its playoff aspirations.

In coaching developments, Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin announced his departure to LSU, leaving interim Pete Golding in charge. In the Mountain West, Boise State will host UNLV for the conference title, decided by analytics due to a four-way tie. BYU and Texas Tech are set to face off again in the Big 12 Championship, while Alabama will confront Georgia in the SEC title game.

Vanderbilt maintained a higher ranking despite a significant win over Texas, credited to a stronger overall season performance. Former NFL coach Bill Belichick’s first season at North Carolina concluded on a disappointing note with a 4-8 record.

The updated AP Top 25 poll includes Ohio State at No. 1, Indiana at No. 2, Georgia at No. 3, Oregon at No. 4, and Texas Tech at No. 5. As the regular season wraps up, eyes are on upcoming conference championship games that will influence the looming playoff picture.
