The situation escalated on September 18 when Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, who also serves as the chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum, held a meeting with the party’s Board of Trustees (BoT). the meeting, Mohammed expressed dissatisfaction with Damagum’s continued role as acting national chairman, indicating that his tenure was no longer acceptable.
