Tanzanian singer Juma Jux has publicly dismissed allegations that he fathered a child with a woman identified as Musika. The musician stated categorically that he has never been physically intimate with his accuser.
The denial came shortly after Jux and his wife, Nigerian actress Priscilla Ojo Mkambala, celebrated their son Rakeem’s first birthday. What prompted the singer to finally address these claims? According to Jux, while the allegations had circulated before, he decided to speak up only when they began affecting his name, family, and business interests.
Jux revealed he reached out to Musika directly to understand her motivations. “Musika confirmed in her own words and voice that she had never been physically intimate with me nor had a romantic relationship with me,” the singer stated. That should have ended it.
But the allegations resurfaced. The matter has now been handed over to legal authorities, with Jux warning that further action would be taken against Musika. He also cautioned media outlets and the public against spreading what he termed misleading information about the case.
The singer emphasized he’ll pursue the matter through proper legal channels, choosing what he described as “calmness, truth and the appropriate legal steps” in handling the situation.
