Mahmud Sadis Buba, popularly known as Al ajabin Zazzau, has officially withdrawn from the race to represent Sabon Gari Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives under the platform of the All Progressives Congress.

In a withdrawal letter addressed to the Kaduna State chairman of the party and shared on his verified Facebook page on Saturday, Buba said his decision followed reconciliation efforts by party leaders and consultations with stakeholders within the APC.

According to him, the decision was difficult but necessary for the unity, ility, and electoral success of the party ahead of future elections.

Buba expressed gratitude to Uba Sani and the APC leadership in Kaduna State for allowing him to participate in the nomination process. He described the experience as enriching and appreciated the support he received from constituents and political supporters throughout the campaign period.

The politician stated that backing a single candidate had become important for the progress of the APC and the continued development of Sabon Gari Federal Constituency and Kaduna State as a whole.

He reaffirmed his loyalty to the ruling party and insisted that his withdrawal should not be seen as a sign of weakness but rather a sacrifice made in the interest of party unity.

Buba also urged his supporters to remain calm, united, and committed to supporting the party’s consensus candidate during the elections.

His withdrawal comes amid public controversy surrounding his age during the buildup to the APC primaries. Some critics had circulated claims online alleging that he was 16 years old, alongside what they described as a copy of his international passport data page. However, reports had previously identified him as being 30 years old.

Despite the controversy, Buba maintained his commitment to the APC and promised to work for the party’s success at the polls.
