United States President Donald Trump is scheduled to undergo his annual dental and medical examinations on May 26 at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center according to a statement released by the White House on Monday.

The medical evaluations are part of the president’s routine preventive healthcare and will include both dental assessments and general medical examinations. The White House stated that the checkups are designed to monitor and maintain the president’s overall health condition as he continues to carry out his demanding responsibilities.

Trump who turns 80 next month has repeatedly insisted that he remains mentally and physically fit. The Republican leader has often highlighted his health status during public appearances and media interactions.

In October 2025 Trump reportedly underwent another major medical checkup after which his doctor Navy Captain Sean Barbabella disclosed that the president’s cardiovascular health was excellent. According to the medical report an MRI and ECG assessment revealed that Trump’s cardiac age appeared significantly younger than his actual age.

The report also stated that the president continued to maintain a rigorous daily work schedule without restrictions. Earlier in April Trump also completed a semi annual health evaluation.

Since returning to office observers have occasionally noticed bruises on Trump’s right hand sometimes concealed with makeup. The White House explained that the marks were linked to aspirin use as part of a standard cardiovascular treatment routine.

The administration had previously revealed that Trump was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency after experiencing swelling in his legs. Medical experts describe the condition as common especially among older adults and say it can be managed through medication and targeted treatments.

Despite concerns surrounding his age Trump continues to remain active in political leadership and public engagements.
